NCAA Basketball Uniforms | Fall / Winter 2024
Once I became an Apparel Design Manager of Basketball at Under Armour, our design team was tasked with designing men’s and women’s basketball uniforms for UA’s top tier NCAA schools. This is a 2-year process of researching, developing fabrics and trims, wear-testing proto-types and meeting with sport specific collegiate athletes to compile the necessary data to engineer to best uniforms to meet today’s standards of on-court technology and performance. Once the designs are finalized, the apparel / graphic design teams and sports marketing group meet with the schools and coaches to build the necessary graphics for the multiple uniform colorways the athletes will wear during the basketball season. Below you will see some of my creative process during the design pre-season as well as some of the final uniforms. Some of the schools below were seen in this past March Madness tournament.
