I designed utility set for more a sophisticated look for Curry Brand in Fall 2021. It was the first time the brand considered cross merchandising basketball product with golf. I also got a chance to work with a talented fashion designer that designed the golf product for Curry Brand. We both created trims for the silhouettes that season that tied into Steph Curry’s life. The pattern on the jacquard grosgrain tape on the utility styles are a repeat pattern of Steph and Ayesha Curry’s matching ‘greater than, less than’ tattoos they have on their arm.

Ayesha Curry revealed the tattoos in an Instagram post back in 2014 and explained the meaning in an interview with Parents Magazine. The tattoos signify “that the past is behind us and the future isn’t promised so we stay right in the middle, in the moment.”
Take a look at the utility styles and sketches below...
