Curry Brand Draft Day Collection | Spring 2023
For Spring 2023, I was tasked with not only designing the basketball apparel collection but also some of the storytelling for Curry Brand. I wanted to find a creative way to incorporate Steph’s Draft Day suit into apparel in some way. With the trend of collage graphics in shorts at the time, I was able to find a unique way to incorporate Steph’s suit DNA into a creative print concept for a cut & sew short design. With the combined efforts of a talented graphic designer and myself, we were able to create a unique pattern that would be able to be engineered into shorts via sublimation. When we pitched the concept in our Spring 2023 design review, everyone loved it. The footwear team adopted the artwork for one of the Curry signature footwear styles that season and it became one of the major stories for Curry Brand.
